Having come from the Windows Mobile world, I never understood why Google turns off predictive text when using the physical keyboard. It only works when using the on-screen keyboard.  This was a great feature in Windows Mobile phones with physical keyboard. I recently review the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.informationweek.com\/byte\/reviews\/personal-tech\/smart-phones\/231902810\">LG DoublePlay<\/a> (BYTE) and <a href=\"http:\/\/anewdomain.net\/2011\/12\/08\/lg-mytouch-mytouch-q-same-name-different-androids\/\">LG myTouch Q<\/a> (aNewDomain.net) Android phones and noticed that  predictive text is still not available when using their physical keyboards.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nHaving never tried a Windows Phone device with a physical keyboard, I wondered if predictive text was available for the currently platform. So, I asked a number of people about this. My old friend, Cesar Fong, who is a Windows Mobile\/Windows Phone expert confirmed that it does indeed work with a physical keyboard.
