phew, its not just me that is feeling the pain. We have 3 Dopod 838 equivalents - 2 838Pros and a JASJAM, the WiMo 5 had no problems connecting, WiMo 6 upgrades were flaky, and WiMo 6.1 just doesn't like any but one of our access points (a Dlink DI524 (802.11b/g) with a partially broken antenna) even when sitting right next to them.

3 access points, all using WEP (yeah yeah). The netgear (802.11b/g) and linksys WAP11 (802.11b) have the strongest signals, but simply will not connect. The PSP and Nintendo DS have no issues and love them all equally.
