I tried holding the battery at different angles to the light but my eyes could not make it out. I whipped out my UV X5 flash light( http://www.copsplus.com/prodnum5044.php ) and hit the battery with a little UV. This made the text pop right up and it turns out my first guess with my bad eyes was correct. Still the feeling was not a good one.
