I keep getting invoices from YP.COM, never ordered their services, never pay the bill. Have sent bill back with comment that I DO NOT OWE THEM ANYTHING, yet their billing continues! The information they show for my company is simply taken from another online ad that I did pay for... which has my business name misspelled... that was corrected after the initial couple of months of online activity. I have NEVER had ANY contact with ANYONE with YP.COM! I am not going to EVER PAY THIS OUTFIT ONE SINGLE DIME... NOR AM I GOING TO GET AN ATTORNEY TO FIGHT THIS CRAP!!!

Do not list your business with YP.COM. If you change your mind and lose your CXL number they will tell you you never canceled it and EXPECT you to pay in full BEFORE they will terminate your account. Google them under complaints and look at ALL the lawsuits and filings they have against them. I work in the event business AND have SUPPLIERS world wide. I will make sure that NONE of them advertise with YP.COM. I called to to cancel my account for a second time because I couldn't remember if I had done so. I was told by the YP.COM Customer Rep that I had already canceled it and not to worry - WRONG - I got an invoice from them and they want payment before they'll cancel my account - I have a different business with a different name... why would I advertise a company that is no longer doing business????

I am actually an internet marketing consultant and i work for yp.com.
The reason that the results that you may have gotten may have not been as relevant as they could be is because yp,com is still in the startup phaze. Meaning that everything doesnt always work the way it it is supoposed to. Go ahead and try that search again and im pretty sutre that all ypour question will be answered. As well as for "dogs" you would look in the classifield section of the directory not the yellow page part. So you see reading is fundemental!!!!

Just wanted to let you know that YP.com is NOT the *real* Yellow Pages. YP.com rips people off by making customers think they are the real Yellow Pages. Just look them up on the Better Business Bureau. The actual page you want is yellowpages.com.
