Also agree with all the above. The only reason to get a windows mobile device is if you get one for free from work, like I did, otherwise steer away from MS.

Best PDA I ever had was a Psion Series 5. Then downgraded to Pocket PC 2003 and lost a lot of functionality. Device crashed and downgraded to new version. Restore of Pocket PC backup not supported, what's the point of taking a backup then? Downgraded to Windows Mobile 6 this week and no possibility to read my hundreds of notes from my previous PDA. Each version you loose features and loose files from the previous one, so MS does not give you any reason to stay with them. That's the good news I guess.

Finally I find people that i have been looking for. (Crying over the subject i have been searching the net for hours). It's strange how a feature like search can be over looked by the Windows Mobile Developers?? It is such a critical function. I have over 8000 contacts and I cant remember my contacts by name. I rely heavily on the Search option to get what i want from my notes. It's very frustrating and I share the comment of barry regarding HTC pda.I hope that there are 3rd party s/wz to overcome this problem.

I guess i'll have to go back to WM3 PDA 2k...

Why oh why did I ever buy a htc pda with windows mobile 6? There is not enough swear words available to me to describe how much I hate windows mobile 6. I like my network, I like the phone but I hate windows mobile 6. Why do we have to be slaves to this pure shit that microsoft creates?
