Eric: First, thanks for telling me I don't understand a product I've tested for several years based on a technology that I've worked with for over a decade as an engineer with one of the largest phone companies in the US. And, the JawBone site lists it as unavailable. I remember BillG touting speech recognition back at the 1994 Fall Comdex. It was not ready for prime time then and is still not ready for prime time. Why should I spend more money to replace a headset I am already comfortable with? If you want to ship me a JawBone headset, I'll test it. Finally, I am not underestimating Voice Command. I've tried it. And, I stand by my conviction that it is a useful toy under optimum conditions. That is why I used each version for a day or two and then discarded it. It simply was not useful to me. Does it have potential? Sure. But, it has not reached it yet IMHO. Maybe in a few years. But, not today.

Have you seen the Jawbone headset? www.jawbone.com. This headset has incredible noise cancellation and makes Voice Command absolutely viable in a noisy airport. Voice Command's technology is about 4 years old now. Don't underestimate the potential of something that you don't fully understand
