My IPOD quit working after downloading the latest version of Itunes. All I get are colored wavy lines will not show any content. I can reset (sometime) the ipod to get to the diagnostic mode. It all passes the Diag. mode. When in diagnostic mode, the screen is clear and readable. Has anyone had this problem?

It's worth adding that if your iPod refuses to go into Disk Mode and you hear a noticeable clicking sound, it's likely a faulty hard drive. If the unit is a Fourth Gen, however, the problem might just be corrosion on the HDD cable and will need cleaned periodically. Good luck & I hope this helps.

Having trouble with Itunes – extremely slow – I have 60000 songs imported – is this the reason? Seemed like it was working well for awhile then just bogged down to where it takes 30 secs or more between clicks. I have an intel 1.73 GHz & 1.0 GB of RAM. Any advice?
